Operational Excellence Solution Design Manager

Company Background:

We are representing our client who provides innovative, global supply-chain solutions across Automotive, Consumer, Industrial and Retail markets. These solutions include Order Management, Distribution & Fulfillment, Customs Brokerage and Transportation products delivered across six regions. As they continue to expand, they are looking for suitable candidate to join the team as Operational Excellence Solution Design Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the regional engineering and sales development team in the sales process, and engineer opportunities into customized supply chain solutions
• Analyze the effectiveness of operations and design optimal logistics solutions to yield cost savings for MNC clientele a
• Development of supply chain capabilities and replicating them in countries within the region
• Work closely with Regional commercial team to develop pricing solutions and perform profit and loss analysis for customer business opportunities.
• Develop supply chain capabilities in the automotive, consumer, industrials and retail industry, and replicate these capabilities across regions
• Develop cost & pricing models, process flows, and other logistics factors within customer RFX defined timelines
• Provide supply chain consulting (e.g. RDC solutioning, network optimization considering physical, documentation, information and financial flow, leveraging free trade agreements to key customers to increase customer stickiness and acquire new business through solutions.
• Work with sub-region/country operations management to improve process/ productivity to increase profitability of identified accounts.
• Renew and maintain engineering capabilities to countries without engineering presence.
• Conduct training on solution design approach to ensure consistency.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree or Master in Logistics Management or Industrial Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of Logistics experience with skills in warehousing, distribution, order management, planning and optimization, and information technology application to logistics
• At least 2 to 3 years exposure to Pan Asian operations of large MNCs
• Experience in proposal preparation, costing, contract negotiation on rates, and customer presentation experience is advantageous
• Must be familiar with process improvement methodologies

Job Details:

• Permanent employment
• Working hours : Mon - Fri (8.30am - 5.30pm)
• Hybrid working arrangement (2 days in office & 3 days WFH)
