Job description

One of Our US based clients are seeking a LaTeX and XML specialist to provide support and back-up for an existing resource on an as-needed basis. This role is ideal for a math guru or someone with strong mathematical typesetting skills, who is proficient in both LaTeX and XML.

Responsibilities:

Provide on-demand back-up and assistance for ongoing projects involving LaTeX and XML.
Collaborate with the existing team to ensure consistency and quality in document formatting and structure.
Handle complex mathematical typesetting using LaTeX for academic or technical projects.
Ensure proper XML tagging and structure to maintain document integrity.

Requirements:

Proven experience working with LaTeX for complex typesetting, especially in mathematical or technical contexts.
Strong understanding of XML and experience with XML tagging and document structuring.
Ability to work on an as-needed basis and provide quick turnaround when required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
