Description

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for keeping financial records accurate and up-to-date? We're looking for a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in managing our financial transactions, ensuring that everything is recorded correctly, and supporting our tax preparation efforts. We offer both hybrid and remote work options, competitive pay, and the flexibility to work full or part-time hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately record daily financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Ensure transactions are correctly entered into the appropriate books, ledgers, and general ledger.
  • Prepare financial reports by bringing books to the trial balance stage.
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, and handle payroll efficiently.
  • Prepare and file financial documents, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Reconcile company accounts to maintain accuracy.
  • Assist with tax payments and returns.
  • Monitor cash flow and generate financial reports to support decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping.
  • Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, FreshBooks).
  • Excellent data entry skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is preferred.
