Copywriter
Job Description: As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for defining and executing consistent copywriting across all touch points. You will generate and contribute brand content that builds awareness, engages customers, grows adoption, and drives sales. This position involves crafting the voice of the brand across multiple channels, including websites, digital media assets, emails, social media, blogs, and all marketing-related materials. You will work closely with marketing, design, and product team members at all levels to generate and execute concepts for all branded material.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the brand voice across various channels.
- Generate content that builds brand awareness, engages customers, and drives sales.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to create cohesive branded material.
- Craft copy for websites, digital media, emails, social media, blogs, and other marketing materials.
Must-Haves
- 4 years of experience in copywriting within advertising or direct marketing.
- Experience utilizing Figma.
- Experience with Stencil.
- Spanish speaking skills are a plus (not a requirement).
Candidate Requirements
- Copywriting experience in advertising and direct marketing.
- Experience in CRM with knowledge of current trends, style, culture, and language of the fitness world.
- Ability to think strategically about interactive design.
- Experience working for websites and sports/fitness lifestyle brands (must have some experience in technical or feature/benefit storytelling).
- Strong conceptual skills with knowledge of how copy relates to art, design, graphics, and typography.
- Online and social media fluency (ecommerce, websites, blogs, social media, etc.) with a curiosity to learn more.
- Experience adapting voice and writing style across media, including email, display, and SMS.
- Expert knowledge of promotion through effective direct response engagement practices.
- Experience in developing direct response concepts, direct mail, and email marketing.
- Ability to multitask, adapt, and prioritize under tight deadlines.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills.
