JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Director, Marketing, as the Professional lead for neffy® (epinephrine nasal spray), is responsible for leading the development and execution of best-in-class, strategic marketing strategy to drive the professional launch of neffy™, market share growth, and improve business revenue and profitability.

This individual will lead the implementation of all Professional related marketing related plans and activities including marketing mix assessment, demand generation, brand communications, and is the lead role in managing agency of record. This includes but is not limited to leading and/or overseeing all facets of product management, understanding disease state, and collaborating with internal partners on ensuring alignment of brand strategies with consumer colleagues, marketing research, competitive intelligence, market access, training and other functional areas supporting the commercial success of neffy. They will manage a product management team focused on Professional markets and collaborate with cross-functional counterparts, particularly the consumer marketing team, to ensure cohesive execution.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Builds and leads a cohesive team in the development of high-quality, marketing content and communications tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Leads the development of brand strategy and messaging pillars to drive brand activation through an integrated marketing plan with defined tactics, timelines, and measurement frameworks.
  • Generates and consolidates key insights across healthcare practitioner and other professional stakeholders (through market research, ad boards, etc.) and makes strategic recommendations to advance performance against goals.
  • Leads the development of external communications strategies and supporting plans to elevate company/brand awareness.
  • Manages the work of internal and external agencies, leads the creative translation and is responsible as the lead role in managing the agency of record.
  • Leads messaging, storytelling, and persona-specific customer-journey mapping and customer buying mapping experience.
  • Manages a diverse media portfolio consisting of multiple media outlets.
  • Develops and executes a growth and marketing strategy across online and offline channels.
  • Develops, monitors, and controls marketing budgets and forecasts, and assesses the marketing media mix (model) to evaluate cost effectiveness and results.
  • Partners collaboratively with cross functional associates to develop strategic plan and access tactics to achieve brand objectives.
  • Translates marketing and business plans into communications that are impactful, relevant, and measurable.
  • Oversees downstream marketing communications to ensure maintenance of brand identity and tone of voice.
  • Manages campaign budgets, sets KPIs, and tracks ROI against spend.
  • Estimates resourcing needs for the marketing team and operates within approved budgets.
  • Collaborates with Medical Affairs to ensure compliant communications strategy and KOL engagement. Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and regulatory guidelines governing commercial and scientific interactions.
  • Drives a standard of excellence throughout the Marketing team, ensure all teammates have a deep understanding of our business, that each plan and initiative is tied to a company or business line objective and that each initiative has a clear rationale and associated metrics This position often requires work before or after normal working hours (8am – 5pm) during the work week and occasionally on weekends. May be required to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Assist with any other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A strong portfolio and a proven track record of delivering high-quality content and brand performance at scale in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Expertise in complex messaging hierarchies to both specialty and non-specialty HCP audiences that translate across traditional and digital platforms, channels, verticals, and segments and drive business forward.
  • A self-starter with strong organization skills who is comfortable with defining goals, success factors, and key metrics for programs, and delivering against them in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • A strong, clear, simple and compelling communicator (verbal and written).
  • Ability to motivate, mentor and manage an interdisciplinary team.
  • Highly collaborative with the affinity to build relationships across teams, including vendors, business managers, and external partners.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or communications preferred
  • Advanced degree MS/MBA/MA preferred.
  • 12+ years marketing management experience, including pharmaceutical omni-channel marketing and commercial launch experience required
  • 4+ years people leadership experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory aspects related to M&A, in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical Device or Diagnostic industry
  • Exercises excellent professional judgment
  • Is highly responsive and works with a sense of urgency to the needs of stakeholder 
 
At ARS, we are proud to offer a highly competitive compensation & benefits package. 
 
The full-time salary range for this posted position is $255,000 to $280,000 and may be eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus. Actual pay rates are determined by considering multiple factors including qualifications, relevance of experience, education & credentials, subject matter expertise, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
