We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative Marketing Assistant to join the Digital Marketing Operations team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager - Digital Marketing Operations, this position will be responsible for supporting various digital marketing initiatives to enhance the online experience for our customers. This role involves executing Customer Data Platform (CDP) campaigns, scheduling online ads, and generating email and social campaigns.  The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute Customer Data Platform (CDP) campaigns, ensuring accurate data collection, segmentation, variant testing and campaign deployment.
  • Act as a liaison between Marketing Managers and key advertising vendors, providing necessary insights and recommendations for improvements based on past campaign performance.
  • Coordinates house ad schedule with outside vendor, ensuring timely and accurate placement.
  • Generate 30-40% of email campaigns, including building and deploying campaigns within company guidelines.
  • Schedules paid social media placements across social media platforms.
  • Provide backup support for social media posts as needed.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of marketing calendars and schedules.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in digital marketing.
  • Assist with other marketing tasks and projects as assigned.
  • Travel to strategic meetings and trainings as needed.  

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience or strong understanding of digital marketing principles and practices. 
  • Proficiency in Google Ads and analytics tools, with the ability to analyze and interpret campaign performance data. 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in executing marketing campaigns. 
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms and best practices. 
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms and their respective analytics tools. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 
  • Knowledge of HTML is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of Customer Data Platforms is a plus, but not required.

Additional details:

$45,000 - $55,000 

Salary within the above posted range is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience.

To be considered candidates must reside within NY, NJ, CT, MD, VA, PA, MA, RI or Washington, DC.  This is a remote first plus convening opportunity.
