Are you ready to take your sales training expertise to the next level? Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Training Manager to join the Instrument and Enterprise Services Division (IES). In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to craft and deliver world-class educational programs for our sales teams. You will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and ensuring the success of our customers by empowering our sales teams.
Location: We are seeking to hire a European sales trainer who is based in the Western or Central European Time Zone with the ability to travel internationally up to 20% overnight.
Responsibilities:
- Independently develop and implement sales training programs with minimal oversight, ensuring high-quality delivery and effective results
- Proactively collaborate with the marketing, operations, commercialisation and sales teams to identify training needs and gaps
- Design, implement and measure a global multiphase, rapid onboarding training process for sales and sales leaders
- Deliver training at international, national and regional sales meetings
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master's preferred. (Preferable in Sales, Healthcare, Business, Management, Education, or Communications).
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in diagnostic, healthcare, pharmaceutical and/or medical device sales industries
- Minimum of 5 years of sales training development and delivery experience to a global audience
- Verbal and written proficiency in English is required. Bilingual in German or French is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge and application of adult learning theory, blended learning approaches, and evaluation methods
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills in both in-person and virtual settings
- Hands-on experience with e-learning platforms/learning managment systems as an administrator
- Proficiency with sales methodologies. Certification in Miller Heiman is a plus
