About the position
As the Client Director, you will play a key role in the continued growth of our Malaysian studio The Gang Asia (formerly known as Common Extract). You will be responsible for identifying potential clients or business opportunities, establishing and nurturing relationships with them, and ultimately converting these prospects into partnerships. You will typically employ a combination of market research, networking, and persuasive communication skills to drive revenue growth and expand the company's market presence..

Reporting to: Managing Director, Malaysia
Location: Malaysia, working 100% remote from home, company time zone MYT. Option for hybrid/in-office work at our Selangor/Johor office. Discord and Slack are your best friends!

Responsibilities
Establish good business rapport with potential clients
Scale business relationships with current partners/clients
Help manage day-to-day client communication
Maintain trust and positive client experience by tackling queries and complaints
Conduct research on prospective clients, perform market and competitive research
Write up briefs, present internationally competitive pitches, and proposals for esteem brands and international clients
Communicate customer feedback to Marketing, Sales and Product Development teams
Work closely with the admin and management team including production, code, game design, art team to build and roll-out the projects
Who you are
Well-seasoned in sales or client relationship management
Experienced in client facing roles and building lasting business relationships with existing and potential partners/clients
Resilience to seize opportunities and turn them into new business ventures
Existing networks within entertainment, retail, fashion, advertisement and media agency network
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to collaborate effectively and drive initiatives with cross functional partners
Clear display of initiative in anticipating and meeting or exceeding the business demands of international clients
Flexible to travel around the region especially Singapore
Must be proficient in English, both written and spoken. Malay or Mandarin are a plus, but not required as our working language is English
