Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Environmental Chemist to join our team! In this role you will get to work with a dynamic team of scientists and project staff overseeing laboratories, reviewing analytical data, and writing data quality summaries for sites located all over the world.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Working with project teams to determine analytical needs.
  • Coordinating with laboratories to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Writing guidance documents for project and field staff.
  • Receiving, tracking, and reviewing laboratory data deliverables.
  • Performing data validation IAW the project-required guidance documents.
  • Using software like FUDSChem and ADR.
  • Preparing data quality summaries and data usability summaries for the project.
  • Working with an amazing team of experienced scientists and project staff.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Knowledge of analytical chemistry methods and QC.
  • Familiarity with environmental sampling and testing techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Unyielding attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Some data review experience.
  • Familiarity with emerging contaminants such as PFAS.
  • Knowledge of, or experience with FUDSChem, EQUIS, and ADR.
  • Background in both organic and inorganic laboratory methodology.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure!

Salary Range: 

$52,700.00 - $92,200.00
