EDI Developer

We are renowned for our developer community, which is integral to our growth trajectory. We are seeking an experienced EDI Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be integral to the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of our EDI systems, ensuring seamless data exchange across our client's business operations.

This is a full-time role, on a US shift and on a Work from home set-up.

Responsibilities

• EDI Development: Design, test, and debug EDI maps and rules using various software languages and tools. Create and maintain EDI maps for cross-company or department use, ensuring data accuracy, efficiency, and security.
• System Implementation: Implement and optimize EDI systems based on user feedback and requirements. Customize systems as needed to meet specific business needs and preferences.
• Maintenance and Support: Provide periodic updates and ongoing support for EDI systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, offer solutions, and enhance system functionality. Ensure all changes are aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years as an EDI analyst or developer, with proven experience in developing maps and creating extended rules.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in EDI standards including ANSI X12 and EDIFACT. 
• Strong knowledge of XML, X12, EDI, and common B2B/B2C communication methods such as AS2, FTP, SFTP, and FTPs.
• Programming Skills: Skilled in C#, Java, JSON, and SQL. Familiar with software design and architecture principles.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with Epicor/EDI HQ setups, configurations, development, and testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry Experience: Background in transportation/logistics. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Standards Knowledge: Strong understanding and development experience with EDI standards including 940/945, 943/944, 846, 947, 832, 810.
