We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to focus on our Website and Integration Products through our Socius Brand. Socius Marketing is a rapidly scaling marketing agency servicing the home improvement, home services, and health care industries. Our services span from website development to search engine optimization to search engine marketing. Our goal is to generate our clients as many leads as possible at the lowest cost per lead from a digital perspective.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain Vue 3 single-page applications (SPA) using modern frameworks like Vite, esbuild, and Webpack.
    • Work with both the Composition and Options API in Vue.
    • Understand and leverage Vue’s reactivity model (MVVM).
    • Exposure to Pug is a plus.
    • Ensure front-end performance and build features with a focus on user experience.
    • Utilize front-end testing frameworks like Storybook to ensure a consistent, high-quality user interface.
    • Manage legacy systems involving WordPress internals and PHP.
    • Develop and implement testing strategies, including unit testing with Vitest or Jest, and ensure robust integration and snapshot testing.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Participate in trunk-based development, perform code reviews, and collaborate with a small, high-performing engineering team.
    • Work within monorepos and utilize yarn workspaces for scalable package management.
    • Build tooling using Monorepo management tools like Turbo, Ultra, or NX.

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

  • Strong expertise in Typescript, with demonstrated success in Typescript-based projects (experience migrating from JavaScript is a plus).
  • Deep understanding of Vue.js (Vue 3), including MVVM architecture and modern build tools.
  • Experience with Express, Node.js, and containerized applications, and familiarity with templating languages like Handlebars (JS and PHP).
  • Strong proficiency with unit testing frameworks (Vitest or Jest) and experience implementing snapshot and integration tests.
  • Ability to to write efficient, secure, and scalable code.
  • Knowledge of modern development tools, like Git.
  • Strong Collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional teams, and a fast-paced environment.

Where:
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $25,000 to $30,000 USD per/year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
