Product General Manager (Technical)

Our partner is a BTC layer 2 solution with unified liquidity, advanced functionality, modular design, increased security, and faster settlements, ensuring efficient and secure financial transactions across networks.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a visionary Technical Product Lead to spearhead our company's technological advancement and align it with our strategic business objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for driving innovation, managing our R&D team, overseeing project progress, and ensuring the quality and timely completion of technical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the company's technical strategy to meet business objectives effectively.
• Lead and supervise a diverse R&D team, fostering efficiency and performance.
• Coordinate technical projects to ensure quality delivery within stipulated timelines.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, driving innovation to maintain our competitive edge.
• Optimize R&D resources, enhance team efficiency, and ensure high-quality output.
• Establish and uphold coding standards and technical documentation for product stability.
• Collaborate across departments to support overall business growth.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

Education and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields.
• Proficiency in a programming language like Python, Rust, or C++.
• Blockchain and Technology Expertise:

Strong understanding of blockchain technology.

• Experience with blockchain development frameworks such as Cosmos and Substrate.
• Knowledge of consensus algorithms and cross-chain bridge systems.

Smart Contracts and Security:

• Proficiency in smart contract development.
• Familiarity with Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZK) technology.

R&D and Management Experience:

• 5-10 years of technical R&D experience with 5+ years in team management.
• Proficient in project management and coordination.

Algorithms and System Design:

• Solid grasp of algorithms and data structures.
• Understanding of network security and distributed system architecture.

Leadership and Communication:

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to innovate and solve complex problems effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in open-source project development and management.
• Background in high-growth technology companies.
• Proven ability in cross-departmental collaboration.
