We are looking for an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to lead procurement operations across Europe. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing procurement strategies at EU sites, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and compliance standards.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with global cross-functional teams and report to the Senior Procurement Director. This position can be based in any German city, with travel to various sites as needed.
 

About the Job:
  • Lead, manage, and develop the Strategic Procurement Teams in Europe (locations in Lampertheim/Dortmund, Germany and Chippenham, UK) with 5 direct reports

  • Drive annual cost reductions and improve bottom-line results

  • Oversee Supplier Management and development in Europe, focusing on Technology, Quality, Cost, Flexibility, and Service, in coordination with the Global Category Leaders

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams at Littelfuse to achieve cost savings, improve DPO, validate pricing, manage capacity allocation, and ensure on-time delivery. Monitor market trends and apply strategic actions

  • Lead the team in preparing and conducting supplier negotiations to meet annual targets, participating as needed

  • Work closely with operations, product marketing, and R&D teams on new projects

  • Develop, maintain, and execute a continuous pipeline of savings projects across the relevant sites

  • Negotiate and manage supplier contracts effectively

About You:
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in business or equivalent technical degree

  • Experienced procurement Professional with 10+ years of experience in semiconductor/Solar/Medical/Tech industries

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Very good understanding of Cost Modeling and Contract Management

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications

  • Familiar with ERP systems like SAP or other mainstream system.

  • Strong analytical skills and technical understanding

  • Fluent in English and German languages with excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Willing to do business travel

  • Self-management skills
