Are you a seasoned Controls Engineer with a passion for automation and leadership? We're seeking a Senior Controls Engineer for our Addison, TX office. If you have a technical background in PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DCS/Delta V platforms and are ready to take on a key leadership role, this opportunity is for you!

What Were Looking For:

  • Experience: 10+ years in control engineering with extensive experience in automation platforms such as PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DCS/Delta V.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Licenses & Certifications: PMP certification is a plus.
  • Preferred Skills: Strong knowledge of industrial networking protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus), standard programming languages (VBA, .NET, SQL, Python), and experience with platforms such as Rockwell Automation, Siemens, and Modicon.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Control Systems Architecture: Design and implement control systems for industrial processes, selecting components, developing schematic diagrams, and programming controllers.
  • Project Management: Develop project plans, manage budgets, schedule tasks, and ensure the profitability of projects up to $10M.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers and technicians, guide project execution, and mentor less experienced team members.
  • Client Interaction: Work closely with clients to identify requirements, develop specifications, and oversee the commissioning and qualification of automation systems.
  • Technical Expertise: Program PLCs, DCS, HMI, SCADA, and design industrial networks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
