Job description

General Summary:

We are seeking a Service Delivery Engineer to be responsible for developing and supporting tools and automation used by our delivery and operations teams. This position reports to the Director of Service Delivery and has no direct reports.

This role works closely cross-functionally with leaders and operations teams to support world class delivery of our products and solutions to customers. The team member will be responsible for various platforms and tools such as power reporting, SLA/OLA adherence, and execution. A strong background in managed services, operations, project management, and reporting are required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for development and enhancement of Smartsheet workflows, Cognito forms, and Microsoft Power Automate
  • Provide support and training to team members using supported tool sets and processes
  • Participate in process development and documentation to facilitate building workflows
  • Support leadership managing delivery capacity, resource planning, and forecasting allocation of operational resources by leveraging insights from supported platforms
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and team leaders
  • Perform technical communications with internal and external parties
  • Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Experience with telecom, technology and the execution of product installations
  • Highly skilled communicator with experience presenting to leadership and peers
  • Ability to develop and articulate concepts and workflows
  • Confident delivering against competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with an emphasis on accuracy
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner

Qualifications, Experience and Education:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience developing Smartsheet projects, reports, dashboard, and templates
  • 2+ years of experience in service delivery or technical project management
  • Advanced understanding of Smartsheet, Microsoft Power Automate, and Microsoft Office suite including Teams, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Word
