Job description

Job Description Summary Responsible for quality control on USACE contact. Shall establish and maintain an effective quality control system in compliance with the clause entitled inspection of construction of the contract clauses. The quality control system shall consist of plans, procedures, and organization necessary to produce an end product that complies with the contract requirements. The system shall cover all on-site construction operations and shall be keyed to the proposed construction sequence. Utilize established in-house quality control procedures to assure full compliance with all off-site work. Submit daily reports in compliance with paragraph documentation for all on-site work and for all off-site work. Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • The CQC System Manager shall be responsible for certifying that all submittals are in compliance with the contract requirements.
  • Maintain current records of quality control operations, activities, and tests performed, including the work of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Produce Daily construction quality control report.
  • Maintain deficiencies list.
  • Create and maintain the CQC plan
  • Perform 3 phases of control for each Definable features of work.
  • Shall be on site at all time during construction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Minimum of 15 years of related experience.
  • Experience with installation of 2 units of 50 Mw or larger in the last 10 years.

Desired Characteristics

  • Fluent in English (Written and spoken).
  • Proficient in using main MS office tool. Mainly Excel.
  • Capacity to work with client and be Contractor representative.
  • Be a problem solver
  • Have a high level of rigor.
  • A person who can always work on construction site (in USA) during construction phase.
  • Must be familiar with EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) rules and manage local employee. (Norm EM-385)
  • Knowledge of RMS system.
  • Be able to completed course ‘’construction Quality Management for Contractor’’
  • Experience working on US Government project is an asset.

The salary range for this position is $111,200.00-$155,400.00 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for 10% variable incentive compensation . This posting is expected to close on September 15, 2024 .
