Job Description
As a Contract Technical Reviewer within the Food & Nutrition Division you will assess and complete technical reviews of SQF audit reports. The Technical Review is a required element in the certification process. This work is performed on a as needed basis.
Responsibilities
- Conduct technical and quality assurance reviews of audit reports within desired volume of work KPI and within prescribed turnaround times.
- Review, evaluate and potentially reject/return audit reports that do not meet quality, accreditation, or scheme requirements back to the auditor along with reason(s) for rejection and action necessary.
Qualifications
- University degree in food science, food technology, or related discipline
- SQF Lead Auditor performing 3 rd part audits or Exemplar Qualified SQF Reviewer
- Minimum 2 years’ work experience in food safety and/or quality management
- Successful completion of a 2-day (16 hour) HACCP course
- 2+ years of auditing experience (80 hours minimum)
The total pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At NSF, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
