Job Description

Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for an Associate Project Lead to join our Implementation team. As the leader for implementation projects and migrations to our systems, you will work directly with customers to identify the necessary activities required to complete each customer’s implementation and follow through to ensure that the activities are performed on time and with high quality. You will own the customer relationship from the point of sale through the completion of the implementation and subsequent hand-off to our Technical Support team. You will be responsible for sustaining the highest level of customer satisfaction with the end-to-end implementation process.

The Implementation Team is responsible for project managing implementations of agency/broker management systems and ancillary products, following the point of sale. The Associate Project Lead interacts with the customer to create a shared sense of direction and establish a trusted working relationship.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop project plans and revise as needed to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Complete various setup, configuration, and activation tasks.
  • Manage or deliver services required to meet implementation goals on time and with high quality.
  • Monitor customer issues to ensure resolution in a timely manner.
  • Communicate project information, including difficult/sensitive information, to customer, team, and management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management.
  • Maintain intermediate knowledge of product functionality.
  • Manage complex implementations where multiple source systems are coordinated/converted.
  • Mentor employees by shadowing and providing timely and constructive feedback on performance.
  • Facilitate/participate in special committees between divisions/departments.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Can work remotely or from an Applied Systems office

Your experience should include some or all of the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of Customer Service experience
  • Ability to conduct intermediate troubleshooting for product installation and other product issues
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

Additionally, you may have:

  • PMP Certification
  • Insurance industry knowledge
  • Implementation experience
  • Data conversion experience
