Purpose

Join our thriving team at BVI UK, growing the IOL market as Territory Sales Manager. This position requires a dynamic and results-driven professional responsible for overseeing and advancing sales activities within the designated territory. This role is pivotal in driving business growth by cultivating strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, managing existing and new accounts and effectively promoting our products and services. The incumbent will play a key role in achieving revenue targets, strategizing market penetration, and ensuring the overall success of our sales operations across the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate an in-depth understanding of BVI's medical devices, encompassing technical specifications, features, benefits and potential applications.
  • Forge and sustain robust relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, surgeons, nurses and other decision-makers. Conduct presentations and demonstrations of medical devices to healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet or surpass sales targets, involving the identification of potential customers, prospecting, lead generation and conversion.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitor products and industry developments to remain informed and responsive.
  • Work closely with internal teams such as sales, marketing and customer support to ensure a unified approach in addressing customer needs and challenges.
  • Negotiate prices, terms and contracts with customers, maintaining a balance between the company's profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Offer ongoing support to customers to enhance their experience and address any concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions and market insights in CRM systems. Regularly update the company on sales progress, challenges and opportunities.
  • Ensure that all sales activities and interactions adhere to relevant laws, regulations and industry standards.
  • Be prepared for travel requirements including meeting clients, attending conferences and participating in trade shows which may involve both local and national/international travel.

Qualification

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the medical device sector or within the hospital environment.
  • Native-level proficiency in English.
  • Demonstrated track record in sales with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage accounts well, good IT skills and organised in record keeping and admin.
  • Familiarity with the medical device sector, including an understanding of industry trends, products and customer needs.
  • A customer-centric approach with the ability to tailor solutions accordingly to the customer needs.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, key stakeholders and industry professionals.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and provide effective solutions.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, contributing to a positive and cohesive working environment.
