Sapiens is on the lookout for a Technical Product Owner (Portal Foundation) to become a key player in our Poland team. If you're a seasoned Technical Product Owner and ready to take your career to new heights with an established, globally successful company, this role could be the perfect fit.

Sapiens DigitalSuite is seeking a highly experienced Technical Product Owner to manage the portal foundation that generates insurance portals for different user personas, such as agents and customers, in all lines of insurance, globally. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background with building digital tools and their supporting infrastructure. Managing roadmaps, backlogs, and collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless implementation and support of the portal foundation.


What you’ll do:

  • Backlog Management: oversee the planning, execution, and overall management of the portal foundation backlog including all epics and stories.
  • Collaboration: work closely with other product owners/managers, team leads, developers, architects, and consultants to support your team’s work as well as other portal teams, delivery teams, and client teams.
  • Implementation Support: ensure successful implementation of the portal foundation for both the different internal business units and Sapiens clients, providing support for bug fixes and missing functionalities.
  • Stakeholder Communication: maintain clear, transparent, and effective communication with peers, managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Travel: your work may include occasional travels for workshops, product demos and client support.


What to Have for this position

Must have Skills:

  • Experience: 7-10 years in a technical product owner or similar role, preferably within the Insurtech or fintech industries.
  • Hands on experience with one or more frontend and backend development
  • Knowledge of software design and REST API
  • Software engineering skills across all phases of software development lifecycle
  • Communication: exceptional communication skills with a high proficiency in English.
  • Leadership: strong leadership abilities to guide and support teams.
  • Soft Skills: hardworking, detail-oriented, and excellent problem-solving skills.
