Job Description

Real Chemistry is looking for a remote Manager, Media Activation to join its integrated growing Activation team!

This role will be focused on Paid Search - overseeing, and crafting tactical SEM plans, managing the teams’ activation and success of those programs. You’d operate in partnership with account planning and analytics teams to understand clients’ business objectives and media goals, collaborating on how best to achieve those goals.

This role fits within your larger omni-channel, digital activation team, working alongside your teammates, fellow digital experts across all biddable tactics – Programmatic, Social, and Direct. With that team, we’ll encourage new ideas and collaborative thinking to further clients’ activation in pursuit of their goals: cross-channel audience targeting, variable attribution tracking, multi-tiered funnel objectives.

You’ll be joining a hybrid – make it what you want it – work environment, having the option to be remote full-time, or go into any one of our offices if you want, too. Could be everyday, once a week, three times, once a month, whatever allows you to do your best work. In this working environment, you’ll be encouraged to find new ways to collaborate, train, or befriend team members, in order to adapt to the new norm.

What You’ll Do

  • You'll lead the day-to-day supervision of client paid search programs including strategic approaches, bid recommendations, execution details, budgets/accounting and overall goal achievement
  • Develop positive relationships with search community, vendors and Directors for optimal service levels and results
  • Understand the client’s product, marketing objectives and digital goals with an emphasis on paid search, presenting to clients on regular basis
  • Monitor, track and evaluate campaign performance analytics, based on client KPI targets and baselines.
  • Stay on top of the latest updates regarding tools and User Interfaces (AdWords, Bing, Bid Management Platforms, eMarketer, SEMrush, Search Engine Land, AdCenter, AdGooroo, etc.)
  • Think creatively, do research, and develop tools and innovative tactics to improve efficiencies or advance the practice. Present practical ideas for future marketing expansion or optimization.
  • Actively contribute to corporate initiatives, automation projects, process changes and roll-outs.
  • Build, or assist in crafting, POVs, standard methodologies, and key process documentation.
  • Campaign Strategy definition and implementation, working closely with other internal departments to develop fully integrated search campaigns.
  • Stay current on industry trends, focusing on how changes can help improve offerings to accounts and enhance our overall practice.
  • Collaborate with internal team and client peers to support strategic solutions that respond to business and communications challenges with healthcare professionals, patients and caregivers

Who’ll Love This Job

  • A builder – who can see where the puck needs to go, and lay the framework for implementation, guiding delivery and client expectations too! A builder who looks beyond the foundation to connect dots for program optimization
  • A rising omnichannel guru – who has formed a good understanding of performance marketing, and wants to continue to delve deeper into leading Paid Seach practices, (with a want to learn other channels) and who understands personalization and stays ahead of trends and tech within digital industry
  • A cool cucumber – who understands how to offset the pressure associated with tight deadlines and quick turnaround times, and remain a solutions-oriented partner
  • A DOER – who doesn’t wait for someone else to fix things. You think strategically about problems and offer recommendations to relevant parties as to how best avoid setbacks and snags

What You Should Have

  • You will be successful on our team with a minimum of 1.5 years of campaign management experience in SEM platforms
  • Past experience or enthusiasm working within the healthcare vertical would be a benefit, but not required
