Job description

Our client, a leading insurance carrier, is looking to for a VP to join their Group Protection Account Management team. If you are a strong leader looking to make an impact and drive strategy then this position could be a fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will develop and oversee the overall financial budgets for your assigned regions
  • Lead a team with a focus on driving performance and development by setting objectives and providing direction
  • Develop sales and relationship management strategy with senior leadership with an emphasis on building relationships with clients, using market and sales trends
  • Serve as a representative and participant in industry organizations to provide exposure for the business

Qualifications

  • Track record of transformative leadership
  • 12+ Years experience in relationship management, 5+ years of management, strategy, and influencing senior management/critical stakeholders experience
  • Experience working with brokers/consultants, preferably with sales or account management direct experience.
  • Executive presence and communication skills; ability to clearly articulate key points to a variety of audiences and stakeholders.
  • Group insurance product knowledge with a proven track record of delivering impactful business results
