Loss Mitigation Underwriter

TEKsystems is currently hiring for Loss Mitigation Underwriters in a fully remote position to support a mortgage client. This position is a long term contract into 2025 with additional opportunity for extension/conversion. The role is responsible for the underwriting of loss mitigation options for all workout types on all loan types. Applicants with prior mortgage loss mitigation underwriting experience are encouraged to apply.

Description

• Must be in compliance of established timelines and quality decisions for each file assigned.
• Evaluate financial status of borrower and provide quality control to loan documents
• Evaluate credit and risk
• Aid in the disposition of documents process.
• Accuracy of documentation and data entry modification
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Mortgage loss mitigation underwriting experience,
• Experience with loan servicing and QC
• Proficient in Excel, Adobe Acrobat.
• FHA/VA exp
