Short Description: Enterprise Master Data Manager will be responsible for managing and ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of Hexagon’s master and reference data. This role is crucial for organizations that rely heavily on data for decision-making, as it involves overseeing the processes and systems that maintain the integrity of critical business information. This role is responsible as the Global Data Lead for our upcoming SAP S/4Hana Public Cloud implementation. It encompasses the responsibility of ensuring a high-quality data migration and integration from legacy systems to SAP S4/Hana.

Key Responsibilities:

Master and Reference Data Management:

• E2E SAP S/4HANA data management capability including scope, build, deploy and sustainment of critical enterprise master data domains such as Material/ Product, Customer/Vendor/Business Partner, and Finance data domains.
• Deploy the Create, Read, Update, Delete (CRUD) process for each of the SAP data subject areas for global, regional, and local adoption.
• E2E master data synchronization, quality, and governance between SAP and other systems
• Align, and deploy simplified management of reference data that supports out of box SAP S/4HANA standards and industry best practices, and supports the E2E SAP global business processes and technology integrations.

Data Migration and Archiving

• Implement SAP data migration strategy and tactical approach, including the roles and responsibilities and technology solutions for the current SAP production data to be migrated into future state S/4Hana
• Lead Data stewards with effective data quality measurements, data security and privacy aspects, along with guidelines for data archival and retention, storage, and obsolescence.
• Develop and oversee the data migration and conversion project plans, timelines and deliverables
• Ensure that the data is cleansed, validated and enriched before migration to maintain data integrity
• Identify and remediate data related risks to minimize program and organizational impact

MDG deployment and cross-functional collaboration:

• Work closely with data stewards and custodians from global, regions, markets, etc. within Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence and across Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence to engage and deliver SAP MDG deployment and/or improvements aligned to the SAP S/4HANA instance strategy.
• Ensure functional and technical data readiness in MDG to support SAP mega process and manage collaboration with stakeholders for solution deployment and adoption.
• Ensure seamless system and process integration with MDG and effectively plan and execute cutover activities during relevant solution deployments.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Master and Reference Data Management.
• Solid background in finance or IT, with a deep understanding of how data impacts business operations.
• Extensive data management experience, especially in successful data migrations in the SAP environments.
• Ability to work across multiple platforms, demonstrating versatility and adaptability in managing data across diverse systems.
• Experience with SAP S4/Hana Public Cloud implementations
• Familiarity with Syniti is a strong plus, enabling you to leverage these tools for efficient data management.
• Comprehensive experience in data management, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
• Knowledge of and proficiency in data migration tools and methodologies, including ETL processes.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques.
• Understanding of data protection regulations and best practices
