Position: Business Development Manager – Service Logistics

Location: Remote with national & international travel

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Business Development Manager to Drive the DHL Supply Chain business and growth agenda for our Service Logistics products through the pro-active identification, assessment, pursuit and win of new sales opportunities in addition to effective management of RFQ opportunities.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • Previous experience in Business Development, specifically within the logistics industry
  • Previous experience selling med device or tech products - desirable
  • Understanding of the sales process/mentality in terms of customer engagement
  • Experience of leading new customer pursuits through the identification, management and delivery of new business
  • Previous experience conducting research meetings with potential customers and leveraging networks to understand the customer's organization, requirements and business objectives.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with new and existing customers and to develop a deep understanding of customer needs
  • Strong stakeholder management internally & externally
