Job Description

We are actively looking for an Transport specialist Westbound (M/F) in Tetouan to take on the following responsibilities:

  • Manage short-term planning and contribute to mid-term planning of vessels.
  • Ensure sufficient storage capacity and manpower for loading and unloading of vessels at ports.
  • Align with upstream contributors (plants, compounds, quality, rail/road) to ensure on-time departure.
  • Track and trace shipments, updating schedules and ETAs as necessary, and proactively inform partners and markets about transport execution.
  • Take necessary actions or measurements if delayed loading or arrival is foreseen, with mitigation tracking (especially during the landing period).
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, including paperwork, customs, environmental, and governmental regulations and their updates.
  • Drive LP and SP performance and continuous improvement action plans.
  • Ensure maximum utilization of resources, including own chartered vessels, securing QCDPExx efficiency.
  • Activate and follow up on damage and claim management.
  • Ensure technological advancements (digitalization and automation of processes, new technology, and innovative solutions).
  • Communicate with concerned stakeholders regarding blocked vehicles or other quality-related issues.
  • Organize pre-carriage to the port by trains and trucks.

Qualifications
  • Languages: Fluent in French and English.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills for analysis.
  • Basic understanding of vehicle logistics.
  • Basic understanding of customs processes.

Additional Information

The ideal candidate should possess a Master's degree or an engineering degree (Bac + 5) in industrial engineering and logistics, accompanied by 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
