Job description

Summary:

The Corporate Recruiter sources, screens, and interviews applicants to build a diverse pipeline of qualified candidates while simultaneously creating a positive hiring experience. Leveraging prior experience as a recruiter in a high-growth, deadline-driven environment, the Corporate Recruiter achieves strategic and immediate department hiring goals while promoting the company's opportunities, career growth, extraordinary culture, and core values. This will include supporting a strategic talent acquisition plan and having a hands-on approach to completing the plan. This position will involve the oversight of accuracy in the applicant tracking system and hand-off of the onboarding process of new hires. This position interacts with employees, applicants, and various functional leaders as a strategic business partner and collaborative team member to ensure that the talent acquisition department’s priorities are achieved with consistent excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures outlined in the Company Safety Program.
  • Utilizes professional networking, social media, cold-calling, creative thinking, and other methods to source qualified candidates proactively.
  • Evaluates candidate applications, screens, and interviews candidates to determine suitability for position and communicate the assessment to Hiring Manager
  • Manages candidate contact during the recruitment process, responds promptly to candidate inquiries, manages candidate expectations, and notifies all applicants when a requisition is filled.
  • Provides status updates, reporting, and other information as needed to co-workers, Supervisors, and Hiring Managers
  • Collaborates to evaluate and improve departmental procedures.
  • Gains a firm understanding of OnTrac culture to align activities and interactions with core values.
  • Research and attend external hiring event opportunities to promote the company's employment brand.
  • Provides hiring and onboarding support hand-off with creative solutions and strategies to fill positions timely, conducts weekly hiring calls with managers, streamlines communication from operations to RPO and talent acquisition team and acts as a liaison between company department heads to anticipate and plan for future recruitment needs.
  • Ensures managers are following the correct process for adding positions. This includes the job descriptions are complete and the process for adding new roles has been completed and approved.
  • Assists with obtaining compensation approval, interviewing, and providing feedback on hires for roles assigned within the Corporate Recruiting function.
  • Travels as needed to assist with hiring events and meetings.
  • Perform any other task or assignment as deemed necessary by the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources or related field (preferred)
  • 3+ years’ Human Resource experience in talent acquisition or recruiting.
  • 1 to 3+ years’ recruiting or onboarding experience.
  • Excellent track record sourcing and qualifying candidates for various positions, varying in level and background.
  • Enthusiasm for frequent cold-calling and other outreach
  • Success filling an array of lower to senior-level positions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for interactions with candidates, vendors, and individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Understanding of strategic issues impacting the business
  • Possess strong relationship-building, verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Organizational Relationship:

Advises, consults, and coordinates with Facility and Corporate Management to aid regarding employment policies and procedures.
