About The Job
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Campaign Operations Manager Temporary to join our Marketing team reporting to the Director of CRM and Email Operations.
This role entails supporting the execution and deployment of multi-channel marketing campaigns, encompassing planning, project management, segmentation, test design, modeling, and strategic optimization. The ideal candidate must possess proven experience in end-to-end campaign deployment, including project management and organizational skills.
Ability to adapt to changes quickly when campaign strategies change or with increase in campaign volume during key drivetimes is a must.
This role requires exceptional project management skills and a keen sense of urgency. The successful candidate will be responsible for meticulously managing project delivery timelines and ensuring all tasks are completed on time. The ability to prioritize effectively, maintain strict adherence to deadlines, and proactively address any potential roadblocks with a sense of urgency is paramount for success in this position.
What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities
- Migrate existing segmentation and campaigns from the current platform to the new customer data platform and ESP.
- Support end-to-end coordination and execution of email marketing campaigns, encompassing request intake, project management, planning, segmentation, test design, scheduling, and deployment of ad-hoc campaigns and journeys.
- Support segmentation needs for all marketing channels (Email/SMS/Direct Mail/Social).
- Build complex segmentation using raw SQL and non-UI methods.
- Collaborate with the business team to understand business needs, translate business needs into technical requirements and execute without errors.
- Partner with data and analytics teams to support A/B and multivariate tests.
- Support builds of API and automation driven journeys.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to enhance marketing channel efficiency, reduce time required to build complex segmentation, and launch campaigns error-free.
- Build campaign templates to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Establish a knowledge base outlining best practices for campaign builds and implement a QA process to ensure error-free execution.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related experience. MBA is a plus.
- 6+ years of cumulative experience in campaign management, with a comprehensive understanding of the technical architecture and functionalities of ESP/CDP/SMS platforms.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in building and deployment of multi-touch marketing and transactional email campaigns is a must.
- Experience with MarTech solutions such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud/AdobeCampaign/Oracle Responsys/Braze/Epsilon etc. is required.
- Experience with Customer Data Platforms such as Salesforce Data Cloud/Amperity/Action IQ/Simon Data/Segment/Adobe etc is required.
- Strong SQL skills, including experience with writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions is required. Experience working with AWS Redshift/Snowflake/Teradata or similar tools is required.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python/Ampscript is preferred.
- Independent thinker with proven ability working on projects in fast-paced environments and adapting quickly to changing priorities and requirements is required.
- Hands on experience in building and deployment of marketing and transactional email campaigns is required.
- Proven ability in automating and improving campaign development, deployment, and QA processes.
- Understanding of deliverability concepts and experience implementing changes to adhere to data privacy and compliance regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR) in a must.

The starting salary for this position is $125,000 - $135,000 and may increase to $150,000 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
