Job Summary: The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth across the USA and LATAM markets. This remote position requires a proactive, results-driven professional with a deep understanding of the localization industry and the ability to excel in a dynamic and virtual work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and cultivate new business prospects across the USA and LATAM to expand the company’s client base and market presence.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders within the localization industry.
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics in the US and LATAM markets.
Create and execute strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets in the localization sector.
Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to align strategies and ensure cohesive market penetration.
Prepare persuasive business proposals, pitches, and presentations to prospective clients and partners.
Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
Monitor and analyze business development activities, performance metrics, and market insights to drive informed decisions.
Stay informed of industry developments, regulatory changes, and economic factors impacting the localization market in the US and LATAM.
Represent the company at virtual meetings, industry events, and conferences to enhance our brand visibility and establish valuable connections.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Linguistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

Proven track record as a Business Development Manager or in a similar role within the localization or translation industry, with experience in both the US and LATAM markets preferred.

Demonstrated success in achieving business growth targets and driving sales initiatives.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities in a remote work setting.

Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

Fluency in English and Spanish; proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.

Availability to travel within the US and LATAM occasionally as needed.
