We are seeking a Technical and Functional Consultant to provide oversight of the handling processes for configurable materials and supply chain processes for SAP Material Management (MM), Production Planning (PP) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) modules.

Create business concepts, align/coordinate with business stakeholders, and then create IT architecture/solution to support the described business process. Understands the business process within a production facility and its associated supply chain and can easily translate it into IT requirements to determine the solution in the existing environment or provide reasonable alternatives through system or business process adaptations. Drives the development of detailed configuration parameters, custom extensions, workflow, and integration solutions. Coordinates with technical and business teams to ensure solutions are designed and implemented to operate in highly available and reliable environments.

Responsibilities:

• Functional management of the SAP Material Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) modules
• Develops innovative and creative output based on interpretation and analysis that improve business performance and contribute to corporate goals and strategic intent.
• Manages critical projects, customer engagements or business processes.
• Provides design and documentation at a function capability level.
• Provides informal mentoring to less experienced colleagues.
• Participates in establishing and maintaining application standards and processes.
• Effectively communicates application and technical direction to the business and within the IT organization.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 6-8 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of experience in functional customization of SAP MM & PP modules
• 3+ years of experience in logistics and Warehouse Management module
• Experience and/or understanding of SAP ABAP area
• Understanding about integration between various SAP modules
• Understanding of applicable related ITIL lifecycle processes and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, such as Change, Incident, Service, Support, and Delivery Management
• Upper-intermediate fluency in English language
• Continuous improvement focus
• Strong problem solving skills

• Familiarity with Sales and Distribution module
• Business process familiarity to quickly provide appropriate solutions

Als Senior IT Consultant with SAP erstellen Sie Geschäftskonzepte, kümmern sich um Abstimmung mit den Interessengruppen des Unternehmens sowie um anschließende Entwicklung einer IT-Architektur/Lösung zur Unterstützung des beschriebenen Geschäftsprozesses. Sie verstehen den Geschäftsprozess innerhalb einer Produktionsanlage und der zugehörigen Lieferkette und können ihn leicht in IT-Anforderungen übersetzen, um die Lösung in der bestehenden Umgebung zu bestimmen oder vernünftige Alternativen durch System- oder Geschäftsprozessanpassungen anzubieten.

Sie treiben die Entwicklung von detaillierten Konfigurationsparametern, kundenspezifischen Erweiterungen, Arbeitsabläufen und Integrationslösungen voran. Sie koordinieren mit technischen und geschäftlichen Teams, um sicherzustellen, dass die Lösungen so konzipiert und implementiert werden, dass sie in hochverfügbaren und zuverlässigen Umgebungen funktionieren.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

• Funktionales Management der Module SAP Material Management (MM) und Produktionsplanung (PP),
• Entwicklung innovativer und kreativer Lösungen auf der Grundlage von Interpretationen und Analysen, die die Unternehmensleistung verbessern und zu den Unternehmenszielen und strategischen Absichten beitragen.
• Verantwortung kritischer Projekte, Kundenengagements oder Geschäftsprozesse.
• Bereitstellung von Design und Dokumentation auf der Ebene der Funktionsfähigkeit.
• Unterstützung des Teams zu wichtigen Themen für weniger erfahrene Kollegen.
• Teilnahme an der Erstellung und Pflege von Anwendungsstandards und -prozessen.
• Gute Kommunikation von Anwendungen und technischen Anweisungen an das Unternehmen und innerhalb der IT-Organisation.
  
  
  

Erforderliche Qualifikationen:

• BA/BS-Abschluss und 6-8 Jahre einschlägige Erfahrung ODER gleichwertige Kombination aus Ausbildung und Erfahrung,
• 5+ Jahre Erfahrung in der funktionalen Anpassung von SAP MM & PP Modulen,
• Mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung in den Modulen Logistik und Warehouse Management,
• Erfahrung und/oder Verständnis im SAP-ABAP-Bereich,
• Verständnis für die Integration zwischen verschiedenen SAP-Modulen,
• Kenntnisse der einschlägigen ITIL-Lebenszyklusprozesse und der Sarbanes-Oxley-Anforderungen, wie Change, Incident, Service, Support und Delivery Management,
• Fließendes Englisch ,
• Fokus auf kontinuierliche Verbesserung,
