Job Purpose and Responsibilities
The Web Publisher works on the company International sites, providing implementation and support for country website content as required, managed through the Oracle.com engagement and life cycle management processes. This includes web publishing, content processing and content management of both flat and multimedia content.
The ability to produce HTML to a high standard, within any code and design guidelines laid down by Oracle is required and Web graphics skills would be beneficial. The production of forms and user interfaces through the use of provided service's tools, HTML and JavaScript is also required.
Responsibilities also include acting as a project lead on oracle.com International team for Arabic language sites and right-to-left layouts, translation submission, liaising with Oracle personnel, country managers and content providers, with design consultancy, web solutions and task prioritisation decisions as appropriate.
Working closely with a wide variety of Oracle internal and external agency staff, good interpersonal and self-management skills are required. Tasks allocated to the web publisher may involve co-ordination and collaboration work with program creation groups or other business units.
Representing the Oracle.com production arm of web and Content Marketing, the Web Publisher will exercise with good discipline the processes and methodologies of the team.
The Web Publisher will be expected to documentation and produce timely and accurate reports for all their activities.
Some of the other responsibilities include:
- Acting as the go-to person on the assigned projects.
- Managing stakeholders, including identification, communication, setting expectations, providing updates and engagement, etc.
- Managing and driving translation schedule for the area of the responsibility/site section (pages, languages, update frequency, managing translation process)
- Typically acting as key resource for translation process
- Managing and executing localisation-related activities (Bill of Materials, Request Management, Demand Gen)
- Manage Digital Governance (broken links, addressing issues, compliance etc. using reporting tools.)
- Managing Multi-lingual SEO
- Regular reporting on project milestones
Required Knowledge And Skills
- Web/technical skills and experience.
- Must be already located in Cyprus or Portugal and have the relevant work permit.
- Experience of working at an international organisation in a project lead/PM capacity (min 2 years).
- Some design skills would be a nice to have.
- Strong web project management skills (ideally with relevant internationally recognised certification in Project Management).
- Arabic (Modern Standard Arabic) at a native level and English language proficiency are required + other non-English languages would be a plus.
- Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Familiarity with content management systems
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of working with right-to-left layouts
- Knowledge of Multilingual SEO
- Formal Project Management training/experience
- Additional language knowledge: French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean
- Knowledge of Web Analytics
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience of JavaScript, AJAX, CGI, Perl, JSP is advantageous.

Responsibilities
Provides technical support and administration of the software infrastructure for the implementation and maintenance of company's digital efforts. Designs and maintains web pages/digital interfaces/applications. Develops user interface features, site animation and special effects. Coordinates with web content developers to ensure the delivery of the content and message is accurate. Provides technical site maintenance, consultation on issues related to animation, search engine techniques, link integrity, navigation, browsers, graphics and other technical developments. Develops code using HTML, Visual Basic or other web-based/digital application programming languages. Prepares technical documentation
