F&G is looking to hire for a Strategic Sourcing Analyst

The Strategic Sourcing Analyst will serve as a key resource for Strategic Sourcing, responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that align with business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitors and manages the strategic sourcing email id, ensuring contracts are appropriately addressed, referred, and followed up on post vendor onboarding
  • Develops strategic relationships with business partners to drive desired outcomes
  • Understands and interprets the basic provisions and terms of contracts; collaborates with Legal and other SMEs as necessary to ensure interpretation accuracy and to resolve escalated issues
  • Negotiates and finalizes agreements for event-related categories, including catering, hotels, and credit card contracts
  • Assists with implementation of Strategic Sourcing platform
  • Reviews and analyzes incoming contracts and assigns to appropriate reviewers
  • Assists in the creation/initial set-up of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) within the Sourcing RFP tool
  • Documents and updates procedures for Strategic Sourcing function to ensure efficiency and compliance
  • Acts as point of advice, support and guidance to departments and individuals for collaborating with Strategic Sourcing
  • Manages departmental reporting, including contract request volume and internal service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring timely updates and accurate data
  • Manages contract database, and collaborates with Strategic Sourcing team to develop and send contractual notices to ensure a timely renewal or termination
  • Supports Vendor Management initiatives, as needed
  • Serves as the system owner and administrator for sourcing tools, ensuring optimal functionality and user support

Experience and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 4+ years of sourcing or contract negotiation or related experience required
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office required
  • Demonstrated knowledge in contract management, negotiation or strategic procurement process required
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management process from initiation to archive preferred
  • Experience with implementing new software platform into established work environment preferred
