Responsibilities:

• Manage and create content for multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest)
• Edit and select photos and videos of farm animals for social media posts
• Write engaging captions and use provided templates to create educational content
• Respond to comments, direct messages, and general inquiries across all platforms
• Update and maintain a Wix-based website with new content, show results, and animal updates
• Create and edit short videos for social media, including reels and TikToks
• Engage with the online community to boost brand visibility and follower interaction
• Collaborate with the business owner to align content with overall marketing strategy
• Track and report on social media metrics and engagement rates



Requirements

• Proven experience in social media management and content creation
• Proficiency in photo and video editing software
• Familiarity with various social media platforms and their best practices
• Experience with website management, preferably with Wix
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Interest in or knowledge of agriculture, animal husbandry, or alternative therapies is a plus
• Adaptability to work on multiple projects and potentially across two related businesses


Scope:

• Manage social media presence for a farm specializing in Scottish Highland cattle and a related wellness business
• Create and schedule 2-3 social media posts per week across multiple platforms
• Update website content on a bi-annual basis or as needed for special events
• Respond to online inquiries within 24-48 hours
• Produce 1-2 short video content pieces per month for various social media platforms
• Attend monthly virtual meetings with the business owner to align on strategy and content planning
