Job Description

As a Customer Success Insights leader on NIQ’s Walmart Center of Excellence, you are responsible for owning and growing NIQ’s engagement with our client’s by serving as a strategic consultant, thought leader, and insights-oriented business advisor delivering compelling, impactful and provocative insights. This includes driving timely outcomes and client value through data and analytics and managing client relationships to mutually beneficial outcomes which drive the overall customer experience and elevate NIQ's performance. This role has deep knowledge of the retail industry in addition to the customer’s business and industry that enables you to identify new opportunities for NIQ to drive value. Works successfully across a matrixed organization structure, fully leveraging the service model. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the growth and development of a team of analytic associates.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Insights associates
  • Partner with customers to set objectives that drive business impact/maximum value 
  • Understand the industry and issues a customer is facing 
  • Build and maintain enduring relationships and deep expertise
  • Understand client structure and organization to enable service strategy
  • Leverage NielsenIQ solutions and apply industry knowledge
  • Conduct issue-based analyses with clear insights and actionable recommendations 
  • Drive thought leadership with customers, leveraging NielsenIQ tools and assets 
  • Identify opportunities for increased partnership and elevate to sales partners 
  • Facilitate clear day-to-day communications with customers, demonstrate empathy  
  • Ensure on-time delivery of solutions to achieve forecasted revenue on time  
  • Ensure deliverables are outcome-focused and connected to business objectives
  • Work with internal partners to ensure timely delivery of monthly data and reporting

Qualifications

Can you work collaboratively as part of a remote team within a dynamic and challenging environment while maintaining high standards? Do you have experience in working with complex client relationships and client issue resolution? Do you have a can-do attitude, maintaining positivity in challenging situations?

  • College/University Undergraduate or Master’s Degree 
  • 7+ years of relevant experience with research techniques & solutions in the related industries of Consumer-Packaged Goods
  • Strong analytics & insights, with experience in revenue management (price & promotions), forecasting, and regression modeling
  • Prior experience with NielsenIQ data (Retail Measurement, Panel), applications and platforms (Connect, AOD, CASE)
  • Effective in senior-level communications, influencing & negotiation
  • Mission-driven and passionate about serving a purpose 
  • Excellent awareness of market conditions and client business environment skills with a track record of predictability and consistency 
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, experience with BI a plus (PowerBI, Tableau)
