Description

Are you passionate about supporting students with visual impairments in achieving academic success? We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide virtual instruction and support to students across various grade levels.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging virtual instruction to students with visual impairments.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
Collaborate with general education teachers and specialists to enhance student learning outcomes.
Conduct assessments and provide appropriate adaptations and accommodations to ensure curriculum access.
Maintain consistent communication with students, parents, and school staff to foster a supportive learning environment.

Requirements

Valid Texas Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) certification.
Experience with virtual teaching and assistive technology for visually impaired students is preferred.
Personal liability insurance required.
