Your missions

Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Psychiatry to support the medical strategies for REXULTI, with a specific focus on the potential launch of the PTSD indication, pending FDA approval. In this role, you will enhance key opinion leader (KOL) relationships and identify opportunities that align with the strategic needs of our internal teams, playing a vital role in elevating the MSL team's contributions in Medical Affairs.

Essential Functions

  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with KOLs, healthcare providers, and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as a trusted resource through scientific exchanges and educational outreach, enhancing the understanding of our products’ scientific and medical value.
  • Connect KOLs and external stakeholders with internal teams for advisory roles, investigations, and evidence generation.
  • Achieve MSL goals in alignment with Medical Affairs product plans.
  • Utilize advanced medical and scientific expertise to support field medical tactics aligned with our medical strategy.
  • Gather and relay medical insights to inform strategies and address unmet medical needs.
  • Identify and facilitate submissions of grant requests and investigator-initiated trials (IIT).
  • Assist in clinical trial efforts by recommending qualified investigators and conducting site outreach.
  • Respond to medical information requests from healthcare professionals.
  • Actively engage in executing our strategy at scientific meetings and facilitate KOL engagement.
  • Stay updated on scientific developments to identify research opportunities and support evidence generation.
  • Contribute to ongoing scientific and medical training for the MSL team and partners.
  • Provide clinical presentations and medical information to managed markets and government accounts.
  • Lead and participate in Medical and cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain effective and compliant communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Mentor and assist in onboarding new MSL team members as assigned.
  • Complete all training, documentation, and administrative responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with all FDA and relevant requirements.

Required Education, Experience, And Skills

  • Accredited advanced degree in a health or life sciences-related field.
  • 5+ years of healthcare or related experience (industry, clinical practice, research, academic, or managed markets).
  • 2+ years in a customer-facing Medical Affairs role within a pharmaceutical company.
  • Ability to interpret complex scientific data and translate it effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills (oral and written).
  • Ability to influence without authority and build trust quickly.
  • Proven track record in teamwork, leadership, decision-making, accountability, and results orientation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A valid driver's license with a safe driving record, as driving is essential for this role.

Preferred Education, Experience, And Skills

  • Accredited Master's or Doctoral degree in a health sciences-related field.
  • Experience in various CNS fields, particularly Psychiatry.
  • Background in clinical practice, research, or teaching.

Travel

This position is field-based, requiring the willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 50-75%.

Salary And Benefits

The national salary range for this position is \(170,000 - \)190,000, with a 20% bonus target based on performance and eligibility for a long-term incentive plan. Benefits include flexible paid time off (PTO), health benefits, and a company-matched 401(k). Additional benefits information is available upon request.
