Compensation Range: $40 - 41 per hour

We are seeking a skilled and strategic Marketing Procurement Specialist to join our client's team for a remote contract opportunity!

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and driving global category strategies for Media and Advertising Technology. You will work closely with key stakeholders to understand business and company requirements, improving value through effective sourcing and supplier relationship management. This includes overseeing the end-to-end sourcing process, crafting and executing category strategies, conducting spend and market analysis, managing RFx processes, negotiating contracts and pricing, and building strategic supplier partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align sourcing strategies and resources with business objectives and project requirements.
  • Negotiate best possible pricing, concessions, and terms and conditions to meet savings and spend expectations.
  • Negotiate, draft, and redline governing agreements, work orders, and other contract documents.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including privacy, legal, risk, compliance, and security to conduct due diligence as needed.
  • Leverage data to evaluate additional category sourcing opportunities and implement sourcing pipelines to drive commercial value for the organization.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis and research to stay abreast of trends, emerging technologies, supplier capabilities, and competitive landscapes to develop a market point of view.
  • Stay on top of industry standards and trends related to responsibilities.
  • Foster strong, trusting relationships with stakeholders and business partners globally.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure a competitive advantage in the market, assurance of supply, and operational cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage and develop key suppliers using Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) tools and industry best practices.
  • Measure and monitor progress to ensure savings and performance targets are achieved.


Qualifications:

  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Education: Bachelors (required)
  • 8-10 years of marketing procurement experience; CPM certification is a plus.
  • Must have advanced experience in sourcing marketing categories, particularly media within marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to inform business decisions.
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration to define and advance shared visions into actionable strategies and priorities.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented, independent, and able to manage multiple concurrent project demands within established timelines.
  • Possess a positive attitude, excellent communication, and strong analytical skills.
  • Proactive, results-oriented with a can-do attitude in meeting critical deadlines.
  • Proven experience in marketing sourcing, large-scale sourcing negotiations, and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work independently and proficiency in preparing PowerPoint presentations.
  • Preferred skills include strong communication, project management, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Extensive marketing sourcing experience, especially in sourcing media within marketing.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic category sourcing plans that align with business objectives.
