About the Role:

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive sales compensation strategy that drives sales performance and supports company goals 
  • Ensure quotas are set accurately and are aligned with market conditions, sales forecasts, and business strategies 
  • Monitor and adjust quotas as necessary to reflect changes in market conditions or business goals 
  • Design, develop, and implement sales incentive compensation plans that are simple, competitive, motivating, and aligned with the company’s strategic goals 
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing compensation plans and make recommendations for improvements 
  • Conduct regular analysis of compensation data to identify trends, forecast costs, and ensure plan effectiveness 
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on compensation analysis and market trends 
  • Ensure all compensation plans comply with legal requirements and industry best practices. 
  • Maintain documentation and reporting to support audit and compliance needs 
  • Work closely with HR, Finance, and Sales Operations teams to ensure alignment on compensation-related initiatives 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor on sales compensation strategy and design 

 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred 
  • 10+ years of experience in sales compensation design and strategy, with a strong understanding of sales operations and financial modeling 
  • Proven ability to design and implement effective sales compensation plans 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions 
  • Proficient in the use of Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) tools and software 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments 
  • Knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations regarding compensation

Compensation                

The annual base salary range for this role’s listed grade level is currently $174,000 to $225,000 plus a bonus for Colorado, New York, and New Jersey residents, and $184,000 to $240,000 plus a bonus for SF Bay Area, Greater Seattle, NYC, and Washington, DC, residents. Salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities of the applicant, and equity with other team members. Employees in this role are also eligible for the following benefits in accordance with the terms of the Company's plans: health, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, flex time off, eligibility to enroll in 401k, and 12 paid holidays.
