Job Overview Summary

The Sr. Manager, Learning & Development for Business Process Improvement is responsible for creating, developing, and delivering training to achieve Quality Assurance/Compliance Department objectives supporting the company’s growth and continued success. This training includes onboarding, foundational applied skills, management processes, and facilitating training by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) regarding key customer requirements. The Sr. Manager will report to the SVP QA/Compliance. This role will interact across the QA/Compliance Department and with cross-functional teams and leaders across the company. Communication skills are critical for success. This role will help execute a strategy to build foundational skills and knowledge for employee and company success.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver training and assist Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with the same.
  • Facilitate team problem-solving and business process improvement.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance/Compliance and other functions across the company.
  • Oversee training systems and corporate training matrix.
  • Supervise and set direction for two learning specialists.
  • Collect and communicate key performance indicators and successes.
  • Other duties as assigned

Location- This role is open to candidates in Columbia, MD or working remotely in the United States.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with design & delivery of interactive training
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a similar field or equivalent work experience creating and delivering training
  • Experience facilitating team-based problem solving and process improvement
  • Project Management skills
  • Supervisory experience
  • Member of Association for Talent Development (ATD) or similar professional society
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation
  • Regularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 10 Lbs.
  • Learn and comprehend basic instructions
  • Focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities
  • Verbal communication; listening and understanding, responding, and speaking

The base salary range for this role is $​115,400​ - $196,300​. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to base salary as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
