Your missions

Position Overview

This role offers the opportunity to work as a Nurse Practitioner for virtual patient care in the field of weight loss, entirely remote with a flexible schedule offering 10 hours per week. Compensation is set at $60/hour through a 1099 contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct initial intake evaluations via video visits for new patients (ages 18+).
Provide holistic patient assessments, review lab results, and prescribe weight loss medications as needed, focusing on GLP-1 agonists.
Serve a diverse patient population with an emphasis on inclusivity and evidence-based care.
Regularly respond to patient inquiries through the patient portal and asynchronous chat.
Manage prescription refills and oversee chronic condition management.

Requirements

Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in at least 4 of the following states: AZ, CA, FL, GA, IL, MA, MI, NY, OH, PA, TX, with residency in the licensed state.
Board Certified (AGNP-BC or FNP-BC) by the ANCC or AANP.
Preferably 2 years of independent practice experience as an NP.
At least 1 year of experience in weight loss medicine, including prescribing GLP-1 agonists, preferred.
Comfortable prescribing compound medications.
Background in Internal or Family Medicine preferred.
Experience with complex chronic condition management preferred.
Telemedicine or virtual care experience is a plus.
