Role Overview

We are seeking a client-focused Tax Manager to join our team remotely, reporting to the Senior Tax Director. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing tax strategies that support our company’s growth initiatives. A builder’s mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and champion tax strategies to align with company objectives.
• Utilize deep knowledge of Research and Development (R&D) tax issues to maximize benefits for client organizations.
• Stay updated on U.S. tax law changes to manage risks and identify planning opportunities.
• Manage federal and state income tax compliance engagements effectively.
• Lead international tax planning efforts and support income tax audits.
• Collaborate closely with our accounting team on client engagements and special projects.
• Conduct research on federal, state, and local tax issues, documenting implications accordingly.
  
  

Requirements

Experience We Are Looking For

• Minimum of five years of experience in public accounting.
• CPA or EA license required; Masters Degree in Tax or JD preferred.
• Proven ability to resolve complex tax issues and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and management skills to motivate and guide teams effectively.
• Experience with international entities and crypto transactions is a plus.
