Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic individual, with fresh new ideas, pragmatic team player with a genuine integrity and with desire to achieve, to join our Nestlé Import Export Team in Sofia at the position of: Import Export Specialist 

 
 

A day in the life of Import Export Specialist
•    Ensure outstanding service in import and export operations managing day-to-day Foreign Trade activities on the compliance way;
•    Coordinate and oversee customs procedures (export, import, re export, inward process..) for finish products, equipment, promotianal materials;
•    Monitor and stay updated on local import and export legislations and maintain good collaboration with governmental institutions (Custom Authorities, Health and Sanitary Agencies, Laboratories, Foreign Ministry);
•    HS code classification
•    Follow changes in Custom Tariff Systems and Trade agreements and apply where needed
•    Ensure management of high fiscal risk products, including UIT codes generation by Tax Authorities platform 
•    Monitoring of international shipments as per agreed Incoterms and prices;
•    Ensure accurate and timely documentation compliance for customs procedures, including licenses, authorizations, and certificates;
•    Secure timely and cost-effective international flow of the goods;
•    Maintain strong partnership with the service providers (Custom Brokers, International Freight Forwarders and other third-party companies);
•    Collaborate and align with various internal stakeholders (Demand & Supply Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Finance & Controlling, Technical
•    Monitoring Key Performance Indicators on a defined periodic basis and taking the necessary actions when deviation or issues are detected.
•    Usage of SAP system, maintain goods movements

 


What will make you successful?
•    Ideally, you are a proactive, service oriented person with strong analytical skills, data-driven thinking and result focus.
•    You have minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience and University degree (economy, organizatinal science or logistic).
•    You have excellent communication and negotiation skills, and developed organization skills.
•    You have excellent knowledge of Bulgarian and English language, both written and spoken, you are advanced user of MS Office package. 
•    Experience in SAP would be an advantage.
•    You have a knowledge of state, Bulgaria and EU applicable laws and regulations as they relate to Customs; Inspections, other import & export government agencies that regulate international trade of food.
