Overview:

St. Luke's Virtual Care Center is in the heart of downtown Boise, surrounded by skiable mountains and raftable rivers. St. Luke's Virtual Care Center exists to optimize acute care outcomes through collaboration and the use of technology. The team-based model of care enables patients in our hospitals to have access to specialty resources, when and where they are needed.

What you can expect from this role

  • Be a strong liaison with our acute care bedside team within St. Luke's system
  • Supervisory oversight for Central Monitoring team who are responsible for monitoring SpO2, cardiac, epilepsy, and patient safety within our St. Luke's hospitals
  • Attend occasional safety huddles within St Luke's system and be a critical player and influencer
  • Use cutting edge technology, including upcoming AI usage
  • Full-time (0.9 FTE), 4 x 9-hour shifts; need flexibility to interact with all shifts; days, nights, weekends
  • Eligible for night/weekend differential
  • Continuing education scholarships - including conferences, certification, licensure
  • This is an on-site position and will require you to work within our Boise facility; NOT REMOTE

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors' of Nursing Degree
  • Experience: 3 years' clinical experience in assigned area; telemetry experience highly preferred
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
