As a Software Engineer joining Breaking Bad team, you will join a small and experienced team on a mission of delivering a better healthcare experience to our members in US healthcare market.
You will be in charge of designing and building microservices to manage a crucial domain of our organization, you will work in AWS using serverless products such as Lambda, DynamoDB and you will code in Python, you will not work on legacy system.
A day in the Life…
Working with a small agile team to design and develop serverless applications and microservices meeting the team’s quality standards.
Implementing new features on the back-end side of our Accolade Cloud Platform
Working with new cloud and cutting-edge technologies (AWS, Elastic, Python, Java) on existing and new projects
Contribute to best practices and help guide the future of our application technologies.
Mentoring younger colleagues
Working with great engineers
Continuously improving our user experience (automating manual work, improving reliability)
Be part of a Continuous delivery mission where your change is delivered to production in minutes (after all automated tests are successfully executed)
Working on own product and being proud of it (we are not a software factory)
Working on a mission-critical project that has a profile in the company.

Demonstrated education, skills and experience to be successful in this role:
Good knowledge of Python 3 or Java(2+ years of experience)
Knowledge of database systems (relational or NoSQL)
Knowledge of CI/CD processes
