Your missions

Job Summary:  

The Implementations Team Lead oversees a high-performing team of analysts and subject matter experts dedicated to supporting the onboarding of new Clearwater clients. They handle performance management, identify learning opportunities, and serve as an escalation point for important inquiries. Leveraging their expertise in complex financial instruments and accounting, they apply domain knowledge to ensure successful client onboarding. Additionally, they play a crucial role in facilitating knowledge transfer and seamless handovers between Sales, Global Delivery, and steady-state Operations teams. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Leads, mentors, trains, and retains a substantial team. 

  • Identifies improvement opportunities and drives solutions across Global Delivery teams. 

  • Directs subordinates, applying rules, policies, and management oversight. 

  • Drives project schedules and results to budget through effective planning and decision-making.  

  • Frequently interacts with subordinates and functional peer groups, requiring cooperation and technical presentations on topics such as projects and schedules. 

  • Supervises professional, skilled, and support staff directly. 

  • Operates within a global framework, coordinating operational teams across diverse time zones. 

  • Demonstrates effective management of both people and projects. 

 

Required skills:  

  • Possesses a strong foundation in accounting, securities, and financial markets knowledge. 

  • Familiarity with accounting and reporting for fixed income, structured products, and/or derivatives. 

  • Experienced in building general ledgers

  • Advanced technical skills in strategic tools (Clarizen, Salesforce, Insight Squared, Paylocity). 

  • Advanced technical skills in MS Office Suite, tools and technologies associated with team responsibilities (e.g., Data Migration, Reporting, Reconciliation).  

  • Experience with Project Management tools. 

  • Experience with MS SQL or similar relational databases. 

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.  

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.  

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. 

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities. 

 

Education and Experience:  

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field 

  • 7+ years of relevant experience with 4+ years leading and managing implementations teams.
