Your missions

The Operations Manager will lead their team in developing and achieving budgeted goals and will be responsible for management of profit and loss.  The individual will provide both strategic and tactical management solutions to the team as well as supervisory assistance to Director/VP of Operations regarding selection, training, and developing new employees. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides professional development to team members. 
  • Responsible for overall performance in terms of activity, sales, service and quality. 
  • Provides day-to-day management of employees relating to training and coaching, problem solving and margin management.
  • Inspires commitment to the business goals and ensures the team understands the "why" behind actions, goals, decisions, and changes. 
  • Facilitates coaching through weekly one-on-ones with all staff using the VISTA Performance Pyramid and by leveraging the Career Path Development Program as appropriate. 
  • Meets frequently with the Director/VP of Operations to inform and update progress regarding the teams’ performance compared to the goals. 
  • Ensures that the team is operating using the "VISTA Way" in terms of consistent and accountable process and routines designed to grow the business in a sustainable and scalable fashion, always focusing on what's best for our customers. 
  • Ability to solve complex problems and uses creative processes to enhance the efficiency of operations.  
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities that are focused on world class customer experience. 
  • Assists with special projects as directed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, communications, sales, marketing, education or related field and/or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of sales management leadership experience preferably in the healthcare or staffing industry with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Previous management experience preferred.
  • Previous experience navigating a changing culture and environment preferred.
  • Ability to hire, train, develop and retain successful physician recruiters, schedulers, and support personnel to create productive and successful teams.
  • Ability to lead team to close sales while upholding quality standards, conducting rate and contract negotiations, and leading team-based critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Ability to use a variety of sales concepts, practices and procedures, and the ability to coordinate sales activities from conceptualization, to planning, to successful execution. 
  • Ability to understand financial and budget information, and to operate within these parameters.
  • Ability to set goals and review them regularly to produce immediate and consistent sales results in a primarily phone-based selling situation.
  • Ability to provide quality services to clients and engage them in positive ways.
  • Strong personal computer skills including mastery of Microsoft Office products and ability to learn proprietary software.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with team members, support departments, peers and management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work cooperatively with all staff members and external customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable with presentations to senior management and staff.
  • Strong leadership, management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Compensation Range

$51,700.00 - $64,600.00

Benefits include: health, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, company-paid life & disability insurance, 401K w/ employer match, paid time off, paid parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
