Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and understandable lessons to facilitate student learning.
• Inspire and motivate students to achieve their academic goals.
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and team members, and actively participate in team meetings.
• Monitor and track student progress, providing insights to the eLearning team.
• Offer personalized tutoring sessions to support individual student needs.
• Perform additional eLearning-related tasks as needed.
  
  

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related Science field.
• Strong understanding of key Chemistry concepts, including atomic and periodic trends, nuclear chemistry, chemical reactions, thermodynamics, equilibrium, compounds, and molecules.
• At least three years of experience teaching Chemistry, with a minimum of one year in a virtual teaching environment.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems, Zoom, Google Docs, Google Slides, and other eLearning tools.
• Ability to effectively teach various types of learners in real-time, ensuring comprehension.
• Excellent skills in engaging and motivating an audience.
• Reliable internet connection, a functional computer, and a noise-canceling headset.
• Professionalism, efficiency, and dependability.
  
  

Schedule

• Part-time, under 20 hours per week.
• Availability to teach on weekdays and weekends, including morning, afternoon, and evening slots.
  
  

Additional Requirements

• Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Schedule: Flexible, with a minimum 4-hour overlap during the 9 am - 5 pm EST workday.
