Your missions

Location: Remote in Texas, Central Standard Time zone

SHIFT: 12:30 PM-9:00 PM CST. May require overtime for after hours training so candidate must be flexible

Duration: 3+ month contract, possible extension

Requirement: Must have experience working with children and or youth 3 out of the most recent 5 years. This position is a late shift with a schedule of 12:30 PM-9 PM CST.

Job Description: Position Purpose:
Develops, assesses, and coordinates care management activities based on member needs to provide quality, cost-effective healthcare outcomes. Develops or contributes to the development of a personalized care plan/service plan for members and educates members and their families/caregivers on services and benefit options available to improve health care access and receive appropriate high-quality care through advocacy and care coordination.

Walk me through the day to day responsibilities of this the role and a description of the project:

  • These positions work in a Call Center setting where the contractors are on a phone queue
  • Day to Day responsibilities - Inbound call center, assist and educate Medicaid members on benefits and Services such as PCP Changes, ID Cards and Coordinate transportation and other services.

Education/Experience:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2 – 4 years of related experience. Requirement is Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing if holding clinical licensure.

Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
Required Skills/Experience: Preferred Skills/ Experience:
1. Must have experience working with children and or youth 3 out of the past 5 years 1. Background in Managed Care
2. Must be able to pass a DFPS **** 2. MCO Medicaid STAR Health insurance knowledge
3. Call center experience is a must; worker is expected to be on the phones for the shift and will need to follow their schedule timely 3.
Education Requirement: High School Diploma or GED Education Preferred: Preferred BA in Social Work or Healthcare Mgmt., LVN, CNA, CMA, RT, Pharmacy Tech
Software Skills Required: Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, etc., Avaya soft phone knowledge
