Your Next Challenges

  • Provide technical production system expertise and project management for complex and large-scale engineering projects with highly complex solutions.
  • Work with the IE team to provide holistic consulting solutions that enable maximum throughput increases by leveraging: parts and equipment kitting, shop floor planning and scheduling, tooling management, visual management, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and more.
  • Provide deep knowledge base of complex production systems and required solutions to address unique challenges.
  • Provide thought leadership in complex production systems design, management, and improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, Agile Project Management Methods, and similar methodologies and frameworks.
  • Identify innovation opportunities, develop concept designs, process specifications, along with relevant production system models (precedence networks (PNETS), capacity models, discrete event simulations, etc.)

Requirements

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. MBA or Masters in Engineering preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Industrial Engineering directly supporting aerospace manufacturing and operations, consulting, or strategy roles hands on experience and progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Proven track record solving complex problems in manufacturing environments utilizing both cutting edge and classical engineering methods.
  • Experience successfully developing problem/solution design fit, producing business cases, distilling and relaying complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, and effectively engaging non-technical stakeholders throughout a project lifecycle.

• Masters in Industrial Engineering or MBA

• Experience with Discrete Event Simulation

For this position, Collinear offers a salary range of $125,000 to $160,000 (DOE) with bonus and profit sharing programs, health insurance, HSA contributions, a 401(k) program with company contributions, nine paid holidays, 15 days of PTO accrued per year, non-prescribed amount of sick leave, flexible schedules and remote working capabilities, and multiple company-sponsored employee events - all in support of creating an employee-focused company.
