Job description

Challenge:

Deliver account revenue and growth by partnering with large strategic accounts and distribution partners within assigned territory. This includes delivering the marketing systems that drive retail sell-through success for assigned accounts and working closely with our retail partners to strengthen our brand presence in the territory and secure Icebreaker & Smartwool’s future as the global leader of merino based products.

Accountability:

Partner with manager to build seasonal Goto-Market (GTM) plans and individual Strategic Key Account Plans (SKAPs) Deliver seasonal revenue for assigned territory and accounts and ensure fullfinancial year budgets are achieve Set New Zealand and Australian Smartwool Partners up for growth success with excellence in creating and sharing tools for growth Be recognised as a strong partner and contributor by peers and Retailer partners Sale In:

  • Execute on seasonal GTM plans to develop new business
  • Deliver seasonal GTM indent target through executing SAPs and building relevant customer assortments.

Sales Thur:

  • Actively manage accounts to maximise seasonal sell-thru performance and reorder performance.
  • Effectively launch the new season by ensuring stores look great (fully stocked, VM’d, and POS up) and store staff are buzzed (Pure Genius training)

‘Must have’ skills, knowledge & experience:

  • Equivalent of 5 years’ sales/marketing account management experience, ideally for an outdoor apparel wholesaler
  • Outstanding customer service standards
  • Strategic account planning skills & success managing key accounts
  • Proven success building new business
  • Proven revenue delivery
  • Channel expertise
  • Negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation and group training skills
  • Exceptional relationship building & management skills and motivation to meet targets
  • Insight, and a high level of commercial acumen and sound judgment
  • Strong problem solving capability and skill
  • Great time-management and prioritizing skills and experience delivering to deadlines
  • Proficiency in Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
